ICU / CCU Medical Officer required for 12 – 24 month contract.
Are you a General Registered junior doctor looking to change to ICU? Having trouble gaining the suitable experience? Then I’d like to speak to you.
My client is a private hospital based in Bundaberg, Qld. They are currently looking to hire a new Medical Officer for commencement in Feb 2019. The Dept. is a 9 bed ICU, also used a step down Coronary Care Unit. It is not accredited for CICM training, however the position is an excellent opportunity to develop the skills before moving to an accredited position. The hospital has ED and Surgery so the case mix is interesting and varied. The shifts are 7 on and 7 off, so you may be able to gain experience in Anaesthesia and ED during your varying shift patterns.
The role will pay in the region of $180,000 as a package, so it a very well paid position to learn in. All employees are able to claim salary packaging benefits.
