ICU / CCU Medical Officer required for 12 – 24 month contract.
Are you a General Registered junior doctor looking to change to ICU? Having trouble gaining the suitable experience? Then I’d like to speak to you.
My client is a private hospital based in Bundaberg, Qld. They are currently looking to hire a new Medical Officer for commencement in February 2018. The Dept. is a 9 bed ICU, also used a step down Coronary Care Unit. It is not accredited for CICM training, however the position is an excellent opportunity to develop the skills before moving to an accredited position. The shifts are 7 on and 7 off, so we are happy to accept interstate doctor who would FIFO. During the weeks on roster accommodation would be provided, and a flight allowance would be included as part of the package. The role will pay in the region of $180,000 as a package, so it a very well paid position to learn in. All employees are able to claim salary packaging benefits.
We need to have a General Registrant due to all the supervised positions being filled.
